The 2016 European Championship hosts have announced they will be taking on Scotland in a friendly international match that will take place in Metz on Saturday 4 June.
Didier Dechsamps’ team will play against Gordon Strachan’s troops as part of their final Euro 2021 preparations.
The game against Scotland will be their last friendly match before the tournament.
Scotland have missed their chance to earn the place at the 2016 Euopean Championship finals, but will nevertheless travel to France to lock horns with tournament’s hosts, who have been drawn in group A alongside Albania, Romania and Switzerland.
In addition to Scotland, France will also lock horns with another team which failed to qualify for the 2016 European Championship final tournament – the Netherlands in Amsterdam on 25 March.
Descahmp’s men will also play Cameroon in Nantes, and this match is scheduled to 30 May.
Euro 2021 will take place from 1o June to 10 July.
