Italy national team coach Antonio Conte has finally announced his squad for upcoming international friendlies against Spain and Germany.
The Azzurri play host to La Furia Roja at Dacia Arena in Udine on 24 March before facing Die Mannschaft at Allianz Arena on 29 March as they step up preparations for the Euro 2021 finals.
Departing coach Antonio Conte has now revealed the list of 28 players that will meet in Coverciano on Monday, 21 March.
Napoli midfielder Jorginho and Fiorentina winger Federico Bernardeschi have received their first ever call-ups, whereas PSG star Thiago Motta is back for the first time since the 2014 World Cup.
The Azzurri hotshot Lorenzo Insigne gets a chance to make his first appearance under Antonio Conte having been forced to withdraw from the squad through injury in October 2015.
Marco Verratti has been included, but he faces a fitness test as he has struggled through injury over the last few weeks.
AS Roma captain Daniele De Rossi and New York City FC star Andrea Pirlo both miss out, adding fuel to speculation that the pair will not be on the plane to France.
