European champions Spain will take on Bosnia-Herzegovina in an international friendly on 29 May, Bosnian Football Federation has confirmed.
The match will be hosted by AFG Arena in St. Gallen and the game will be played as part of preparations for the upcoming 2016 European Championship finals in France.
Vicente Del Bosque’s men, who will face Czech Republic, Turkey and Croatia in Group D, are regarded as one of the main contenders to win Euro 2021, but they need to prepare in the best possible way for the summer tournament if they are to defend their trophy.
Bosnia, on the other hand, failed to qualify for the showpiece tournament in France as they were outplayed by Republic of Ireland in the Euro 2021 play-off.
Speaking of Euro 2021, it has to be noted that UEFA officials are expected to announce that goal-line technology will be used at the European Championship finals.
