Napoli want to get back to winning ways in their clash against Chievo in order to keep track with high-flying Juventus. I Mussi Volanti hope for the repetition of their last term triumph at Stadio San Paolo.
Napoli need a triumph
I Partenopei gave up valuable points in their draw with Fiorentina (1-1). The result was settled in the opening moments of the clash, with two quick-fired shots by Marcos Alonso and Gonzalo Higuain. The Argentinian forward thus ended his barren run, but failed to deliver a triumph for his team. Maurizio Sarri’s side are now five without a triumph in all competitions, trailing four points behind red-hot Juventus in the Serie A. If they plan to retain their title credentials, the Neapolitans need a triumph over i Mussi Volanti. Stadio San Paolo outfit are undefeated on home soil this term, they won their last two clashes against the Gialloblu and, if Higuain and Hamsik produce their best performance, I am confident Napoli will keep their chances for winning the title.
Raul Albiol is suspended for the match against Chievo. Ivan Strinic and Omar El Kaddouri are still having problems with their injuries and will remain sidelined.

Napoli are in a must win situation. Any other result will be conidered as a disaster, so I reckon Maurizio Sarri will go all guns blazing this Saturday. Chievo are a difficult team to beat when they play on the road, but it seems highly unlikely they are capable of recording a positive result. This is why I will put my money on the Partenopei.
