England set for Portugal friendly on 2 June

The national team of England will face Portugal at Wembley in the final warm-up game for the Euro 2021 finals, the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) has announced.

The Three Lions will test their skills against Germany and Netherlands on 26 March and 29 March respectively, before facing Australia on 27 May.

And it has now been revealed that they will host star-studded Portugal side at Wembley on 2 June in what should be their final friendly ahead of the tournament finals.

England will also play host to Turkey ar Etihad Stadium in Manchester on 22 May.

The Selecao has also announced friendly games against Norway, taking place on 29 May, and Estonia, on 8 June, with the venue of the final Euro 2021 warm-up yet to be disclosed.

Portugal kick off their European Championship campaign on 14 June against Portugal, whereas England face Russia on 11 June in their opening fixture.

Both sides have big ambitions at the tournament in France, having utterly failed to live up to the expectations at previous major tournaments.
