Wolfsburg agree to sign Dante

Bundesliga giants Wolfsburg are set to complete the signing of Brazilian defender Dante from Bayern Munich, according to L’Equipe.

The 31-year-old found himself surplus to requirements at Allianz Arena and the Wolves wasted no time in securing his signature.

Wolfsburg have reportedly agreed a €4 million deal for the experienced centre-back, who will sign a two-year contract at Volkswagen Arena.

Dante joined Bayern Munich in a cut-price deal from Borussia M’gladbach three years ago and has since made 86 Bundesliga appearances for the Bavarians.

The defender, who has 2 goals in 13 Brazil caps, hopes that a move to Wolfsburg will help him reignite his international career as well.
