Celta Vigo have been struggling in La Liga in 2016 and, as a result, the club chiefs are keen on signing a high-profile striker in January transfer window.
Olympique Lyon attacker Claudio Beauvue has been on Celta’s radar of late, but their first bid for the Guadeloupe footballer was rejected by Lyon management.
However, les Gones are now willing to accept a €4 million bid (+ €1m in bonuses) for the 27-year-old forward and Beauvue’s agent has no doubts over the future of the Lyon player.
“Claudio is determined to go to Celta Vigo and nowhere else”, said Beauvue’s representative.
Claudio Beauvue has netted five goals for Olympique Lyon in the 2015/2016 Ligue 1 campaign so far, but, as things stand now, he is on the verge of joining the Estadio de Balaidos outfit.
Beauvue used to play for the likes of Guingamp, Bastia, Chateauroux and Troyes in the past.
