The likes of Joel Campbell, Keylor Navas, Bryan Oviedo, Bryan Ruiz and Celso Borges all made Costa Rica Copa America squad, but the Real Madrid goalkeeper was forced to withdraw from the squad with injury. Navas has been suffering with Achilles problems of late and, no doubt, he will be sorely missed at the upcoming tournament. Ariel Rodriguez suffered an injury in training and he misses the Copa America Centenario as well. Johnny Woodly has replaced Ariel Rodriguez in the final roster.

Goalkeeper Justo Villar is a major doubt (fitness) and he will be assessed on the match day. La Albirroja head into the game with a severely-weakened squad and they should be happy with one point from the match. Costa Rica have been in a fine form of late and they are likely to grab something from the Camping World Stadium clash.
