Argentina and Bolivia to square off on September 4 in Houston

Argentina to face Bolivia in September friendlyThe Argentine Football Association (AFA) have moved to reveal that La Albiceleste will be facing South American rivals Bolivia in an international friendly on September 4.

Tata Martino’s side are already scheduled to face Mexico on September 8 in Dallas in what will be the final warm-up game ahead of the start of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

And it has now been revealed that Argentina national team will play Bolivia four days earlier at the BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston, Texas.

Having narrowly missed out on the 2014 World Cup and 2015 Copa America trophies, La Albiceleste will be eager to qualify for the 2018 finals in Russia.

Argentina coach Tata Martino will announced the list of players for friendlies against Bolivia and Mexico on Friday, August 14.

The former Barcelona boss will first reveal the list of players plying their trade in Europe before adding home-based footballers to the squad.

Martino has already hinted that star player Leo Messi will be available for selection despite reports claiming he would miss the friendly tour of the United States.
