Robson-Kanu, Chester doubtful for qualifiers vs Cyprus and IsraelBBC Sport has learned that Hal Robson-Kanu (26/2) and James Chester (6/0) could miss Euro 2021 qualifiers against Cyprus and Israel.

Group B leaders need few more points to secure their place at the tournament finals and they can be backed at 1.73 (8/11) to defeat Cyprus on the road in the first of two games.

And while Joe Allen has been ruled out through injury, the likes of Hal-Robson Kanu and James Chester are both rated doubtful.

The Reading forward suffered a groin strain at the weekend, whereas the West Brom defender missed the weekend’s clash against Stoke through a minor hamstring injury.

Having been named in Wales squad for Euro 2021 qualifiers, the pair will join their teammates later today and then get assessed by the medical staff.

The likes of Emyr Huws (4/0) and Jonathan Williams (7/0) miss out through injury, whereas David Vaughan (39/1) has made himself unavailable for selection due to personal reasons.
