Croatia vs Portugal Team News

Luka Modric and Mario Mandzukic missed the Spain game with injury, but the duo should recover in time to face Portugal in the Euro 2021 last 16. Domagoj Vida is likely to be recalled to the starting line-up after he was rested in the 2-1 win over Spain. Marcelo Brozovic returns to the starting XI as well and there is every chance coach Ante Cacic is going to field the best possible side against Portugal.

Injured: None

Doubtful: None

Suspended: None

Raphael Guerreiro, who missed the Hungary game with injury, should be fit to face Croatia. Coach Fernando Santos has no other selection worries ahead of the Euro 2021 last 16. Eliseu is likely to drop to the bench, but Fernando Santos is unlikely to make too many changes to the team that faced Hungary. Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace against Hungary and he will be the man to watch in the away team.

Injured: None

Doubtful: Raphael Guerreiro (9/2)

Suspended: None

Croatia vs Portugal Prediction

All eyes will be on Stade Bollaert-Delelis in Lens when Croatia and Portugal take on each other in the Euro 2021 last 16. A Selecao have yet to record a win at the tournament in France, but seeing that Cristiano Ronaldo impressed against Hungary, I would not be surprised if Fernando Santos’ men find the net against Croatia. Ante Cacic welcomes Luka Modric and Mario Mandzukic back to the starting line-up and, taking everything into account, both teams to score bet appears on the cards.

Betting Tip: Both teams to score

Odds: 2.25 (5/4) @10Bet
