Valencia defender Nicolas Otamendi is heavily linked with a move to Manchester United. Few days ago Bayern Munich joined the race to sign the Argentina footballer but, as reports in Spain suggest, Real Madrid are also interested in signing the 27-year-old centre-back.
Nonetheless, Spanish newspaper AS reports that Real Madrid are also willing to sign Otamendi’s teammate Shkodran Mustafi, who impressed with Valencia in the 2014/2015 la Liga campaign.
Nicolas Otamendi is reportedly eager to leave Valencia in the summer transfer window, but Shkodran Mustafi wants to stay at Estadio de Mestalla.
The duo was in a perfect working order last term. Los Che conceded no more than 32 goals in 38 la Liga fixtures last season and no doubt that helped Nuno Espirito Santo’s team book their place in the Champions League.
Otamendi joined Valencia from Atletico Mineiro in 2014, whilst Mustafi joined the team last summer from Sampdoria.
