Team News

Bernd Storck’s decision to hand call-up to forgotten Daniel Bode paid off big time as the experienced forward scored two goals to help Hungary come from a goal behind and defeat Faroe Islands.

The 28-year-old is now widely expected to start the final Euro 2018 qualifiers against Greece, with Nemanja Nikolic expected to make way following yet another under-par performance.

Predrag Bosnjak had earlier withdrawn due to injury, but starting left-back Leandro de Almeida returns having served a one-match suspension.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Kiraly – Fiola, Juhasz, Guzmics, Leandro – Nagy, Tozser – Nemeth, Gera, Dzsudzsak – Bode.
