Bologna vs Inter prediction

Stadio Renato Dall’Ara will host the match between Bologna and Inter. The two sides take on each other in the opening Serie A match of Gameweek 10 and it remains to be seen if the Nerazzurri are capable of putting an end to their four-game winless run in the national championship.

Morale-boosting win at Carpi

Following four consecutive defeats in the Serie A, Bologna did well to beat Carpi in Saturday’s relegation six-pointer. The Rossoblu surely regained the confidence, but despite defeating the newcomers at Stadio Alberto Braglia, they remained in the relegation zone in the Serie A standings. Bologna will be looking to build on the victory when they take on Inter at their Stadio Renato Dall’Ara and they are surely capable of making life difficult for the Nerazzurri in front of home fans. Defenders Gastaldello and Masina scored for the Rossoblu in the win over Carpi and it is more than obvious that Bologna attackers struggle in front of goal. Summer signing Mattia Destro has yet to open his goal-scoring account and, no doubt, he will give 100% to find the net in Tuesday’s clash against Inter. Destro has netted 41 goals in the Serie A in his career.

Zuculini has yet to overcome his injury, while the likes of Ferrari, Mirante, Krafth and Mounier are all rated doubtful for the Inter game. Franco Brienza is likely to return to the starting line-up after coming as a substitute in the 2-1 win over Carpi.

Two more points dropped

Inter played out a goalless draw with Juventus in the Serie A derby two weeks ago and even though many people expected that they would return to winning ways at the weekend, the Nerazzurri shared the spoils with Palermo at “Renzo Barbera”. Roberto Mancini’s men dropped a one-goal advantage against the Rosanero and they will surely give their all to start a new winning run in the Serie A when they take on Bologna on Tuesday evening. Croatian attacker Ivan Perisic has been in a fine form of late. The former Wolfsburg attacker scored in the 1-1 draw with Palermo and he will be one of the men to watch in the away side. Stevan Jovetic has been struggling to find his goal-scoring touch in recent weeks, but the Montenegro striker is widely expected to lead the attack for the visitors against Bologna. The former Manchester City man has netted three goals in the 2015/2021 Serie A campaign to date.

Defender Murillo was sent off against Palermo and he will serve his ban against Bologna. Fellow centre back Nemanja Vidic has yet to recover from his injury. Roberto Mancini is likely to stick to the 4-2-3-1 formation.

Bologna vs Inter betting tip

Tuesday’s match at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara is of big importance for both Bologna and Inter. The Rossoblu aim to move away from the relegation zone, while the Nerazzurri are eager to return to winning ways and stay in the race for Scudetto. There is every chance we will see a lively contest in Bologna and seeing that no less than six goals have been netted in last two meetings between the two teams in the Serie A, I believe that there is a certain value in betting on both teams to score.

Tip: Both teams to score

Odds: 2.10 (11/10) at 10Bet
