Colombian Football Federation (FCF) have announced that the senior national team will face Haiti in their final warm-up game for the 2016 Copa America Centenario.
Los Cafeteros kick off the tournament with a high-profile clash against Team USA at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara on June 3, with Costa Rica and Paraguay the other two sides in Group A.
FCF have now confirmed they have accepted a proposal from Haiti, meaning the two sides will square off at Marlins Park in Miami on May 29, 4.00 PM local time.
This will be a good preparation match for Haiti as well as they also take part at the showpiece tournament, vying Brazil, Ecuador and Peru in group B.
Meanwhile, Colombia national team are currently focused on the 2018 World Cup qualifiers and upcoming matches against Bolivia and Ecuador.
After taking just four points from first four matches, los Cafeteros hope to record back to back wins, and coach Jose Pekerman has so far revealed the first part of the squad, consisting only of home-based footballers.
