Venezuela coach Rafael Dudamel has unveiled a 23-man squad for the 2016 Copa America Centenario that will be held in the United States.
La Vinotinto kick off their Copa America Centenario campaign with a match against Jamaica on 5 June and the Venezuelans certainly have big ambitions for the upcoming tournament.
Rafael Dudamel has removed eight names from the preliminary list: Eduardo Herrera, Daniel Benitez, Victor Garcia, Jhon Chancellor, Arles Flores, Jeffren Suarez, Andres Ponce and Jacobo Kouffati, but he welcomes Rolf Feltscher back to the squad following a two-year absence.
It has to be noted that the likes of Carlos Suarez (Carabobo) and Yangel Herrera (Atletico Venezuela) surprisingly made the final roster.
Christian Santos, Salomon Rondon, Tomas Rincon, Luis Manuel Seijas and Alejandro Guerra did not take part in a friendly against Galicia, but they will represent Venezuela at the 2016 Copa America.
Venezuela take on Panama at Estadio Rommel Ferandnez Gutierez in a friendly on Wednesday, before facing Costa Rica in San Jose five days later.
