Ecuador national team coach Gustavo Quinteros has announced his final 23-man squad for the 2016 Copa America Centenario tournament in United States.
La Tri boss opted for proven forces that were part of the process since taking Ecuador bench. Deprived of the services of injured striker Felipe Caicedo and left-back Oscar Bagui, Quinteros called several new players to fill those gaps.
The biggest surprise on Quinteros final squad is Ferencvaros defender Cristian Ramírez, while the final squad is reinforced with three “reserve” players Mario Pineida, Luis Caicedo and Jose Angulo.
Premier League stars Antonio Valencia, Enner Valencia, Juan Carlos Paredes and Jefferson Montero will be the men to watch at the tournament finals.
Ecuador kick off their campaign with the game against star-studded Brazil in Pasadena, meaning they will have to be at their best from the very start.
