UEFA Under21 Championship kicks off in Czech Republic

UEFA Under 21 EuroWhile South American top sides are vying for the 2015 Copa America trophy in Chile, top Under-21 national teams from Europe will be battling for the UEFA Championship trophy in Czech Republic.

The tournament kicks off on Wednesday, 16th June and lasts until 30th June, when two sides will meet in the final at the Eden Arena in Prague.

According to online bookmakers, Germany can be trusted to add the Under-21 title to the 2014 World Cup trophy, with the likes of Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Matthias Ginter, Emre Can and Kevin Volland the star men.

Led by Premier League stars Harry Kane, Danny Ings, Saido Berahino and James Ward-Prowse, England are also expected to enter the final stages of the tournament, just like Portugal and Italy.

Serbia and Denmark are seen by many as the dark horses, with the two sides usually quite impressive at these kinds of tournaments, and Serbia already reaching the semi-finals at the Under-20 World Cup in New Zealand.

Some of the other star players that will be on display in the Czech Republic include Domenico Berardi, Stefano Sturaro, Bernardo Silva, William Carvalho and Aleksandar Pesic.
