Lazio agree deal for Milan Bisevac

Lazio chiefs are eager to find an adequate replacement for defender Stefan de Vrij, who has been struggling with injury this season.

The capital club experienced all sorts of problems at the back in the first half of the 2015/2016 Serie A campaign and they certainly want to improve defensively.

The Biancocelesti are keen on signing Olympique Lyon centre-back Milan Bisevac and the deal is set to be completed, L’Equipe understands.

The Serbia international has recently overcome his long-term injury and that is the main reason why he has made no more than six appearances for les Gones in the 2015/2016 Ligue 1 campaign.

Milan Bisevac used to play for the likes of Crvena Zvezda, Lens, Valenciennes and PSG in the past and it has to be noted that he has earned 19 caps for the Serbian national team.

The 32-year-old defender was rested in Sunday’s 7-0 victory over Limoges in Coupe de France.
