Costa Rica coach Oscar Ramirez has announced his 23-man squad that will represent the country at the 2016 Copa America Centenario.
La Sele have been placed in a very strong Group A alongside hosts United States, Colombia and Paraguay, and they face an uphill task in an attempt to reach the knockout stages.
Head coach Oscar Ramirez today unveiled his final roster for the tournament that will be held from 3 June to 26 June in the United States.
Star players Keylor Navas, Joel Campbell, Bryan Oviedo, Bryan Ruiz and Celso Borges are all included, but goalkeeper Leonel Moreira has been overlooked.
Alajuelense full-back Jose Andres Salvatierra Lopez is the biggest surprise on the roster, while Marcos Urena and Michael Umana both return. Pablo Salazar and Johnny Woodly will remain with the squad, ready to deputise if needed.
