Romania vs Switzerland Team News
Adrian Popa and Florin Andone are both likely to drop to the bench. Gabriel Torje and Denis Alibec could be recalled to the starting line-up. Razvan Rat, Vlad Chiriches and Adrian Popa are all one yellow card away from suspension. Coach Anghel Iordanescu has no fresh selection worries ahead of the Switzerland game, but Florin Gardos misses the tournament through injury.

Breel Embolo came as a substitute in the 1-0 loss to Albania, but he could start this time out. Switzerland defender Johan Djorou failed to impress in the Euro 2021 opener and it remains to be seen if the former Arsenal man is going to keep his place in the starting XI. Coach Vladimir Petkovic, though, is unlikely to make too many changes to the team that defeated Albania. Haris Seferovic is widely expected to lead the attack for the Rossocrociati against Romania.

- Switzerland are after their third consecutive clean sheet at Euro finals
- Stephan Lichtsteiner could earn his 75th cap for Switzerland against Romania
Romania vs Switzerland Prediction
Despite failing to impress in their Euro 2021 opener against Albania, Switzerland did well to pick up all three points from the match. The Rossocrociati moved one step closer to booking their place in the knockout stages, but they can’t afford any complacency in the game against Romania, who were on the verge of sharing the spoils with France at Stade de France. Vladimir Petkovic’s men are likely to adopt a defence-minded approach in Wednesday’s match and there is every chance we will see a low-scoring affair at Parc des Princes.
