Czech Republic vs Croatia Team News

Borek Dockal remains doubtful and he will be monitored ahead of the kick-off, but coach Pavel Vrba has no fresh injury worries ahead of the Croatia game. David Lafata came as a substitute in the 1-0 loss to Spain, but he could be recalled to the starting line-up. Defender David Limbersky is one yellow card away from suspension. Marek Suchy returns from suspension.

Darijo Srna should start despite the death of his father. As reports in Croatia suggest, Milan Badelj and Ivan Strinic could drop to the bench, with Marko Pjaca and Sime Vrsaljko likely to step up. Real Madrid ace Mateo Kovacic could play some part in Friday’s game against Czech Republic as well. Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic is widely expected to lead the line for the Croats against Czech Republic.

Czech Republic vs Croatia Prediction

Croatia will be looking to build on a hard-fought win over Turkey when they take on Czech Republic in their second group game at Euro 2016 finals. Luka Modric, Mario Mandzukic and Ivan Rakitic proved their worth in the victory over Fatih Terim’s troops and despite the fact that Czech Republic were on the verge of sharing the spoils with title holders Spain in their opener, I am tempted to put my money on Ante Cacic’s troops as they seem to be at the top of their game.

Betting Tip: Croatia to win

Odds: 1.80 (4/5) @10Bet
