Ligue 1 club Saint-Etienne have announced the signing of Rosenborg attacker Alexander Toft Soderlund.
The 28-year-old Norwegian forward joins the French outfit for €1.5 million and, no doubt, he is going to help the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard’s team improve their game.
Alexander Soderlund is brought to replace injured striker Robert Beric, who will miss the rest of the season with injury. The Slovenian attacker has made just nine appearances with les Verts this term.
Soderlund impressed in the 2015 Eliteserien campaign as he scored 22 goals in 27 appearances for the Norwegian champions.
Saint-Etienne occupy sixth place in the Ligue 1 standings and the January signing is expected to help the team move a little closer to the Champions League places.
Alexander Soderlund used to play for Hamur, FH and Haugesund as well in the past and it has to be noted that he has earned 22 caps for the Norwegian national team.
