Galatasaray set to sign Serbia starlet Predrag Rajkovic

Galatasaray are on the verge of agreeing a deal for Red Star captain Predrag Rajkovic, according to reports in Serbia.

The Turkish giants are on the lookout for Fernando Muslera’s successor given that the Uruguay international is being linked with a move away from the club.

And they appear to have found their man, having all but reached an agreement to sign Red Star’s Predrag Rajkovic.

Galatasaray will pay around €3 million for the 19-year-old footballer, widely regarded to be one of world’s most exciting prospects.

Despite his fragile age, Rajkovic already has decent first team experience, having made a total of 37 appearances in Serbia’s top flight.

He captained the Serbian national team on the road to the Under-20 World Cup title in June this year and was voted the best goalkeeper of the tournament.

Rajkovic has been showing incredible maturity since becoming the number one goalkeeper at red Star, while he has been capped once by the senior national team.
