Carlos Bacca impressed in the 2014/2015 campaign with Sevilla. The Colombian attacker won the Europa League trophy with the Spanish outfit and he has been producing fine performances with Milan in Serie A this season as well.
Unlike Real Madrid ace James Rodriguez, Carlos Bacca was injury free in 2015, he scored two goals in the Europa League final against Dnipro and that surely helped him win Colombia player of the year award.
The 29-year-old attacker scored 28 goals for Sevilla in all competitions in the 2014/2015 campaign and he has netted eight goals for Milan in the 2015/2016 Serie A campaign to date.
On the other hand, Bacca has yet to open his goal-scoring account for Colombia in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers, but, no doubt, he will play an important role in Jose Pekerman’s team in upcoming games.
The Colombians occupy seventh place in their qualifying group and it has to be noted that they will face the likes of Bolivia and Ecuador in March.
