Haiti coach Patrice Neveu has selected a 23-man squad for the 2016 Copa America, which will be held in United States of America.
A few eyebrows may have been raised when Neveu selected his squad for the upcoming tournament as some players surprisingly made the final roster.
Uncapped Luis Valendi Odelus is the only representative from the domestic championship and he could he could make his Haiti debut in a friendly against Colombia on 30 May.
Haiti have been drawn alongside Brazil, Peru and Ecuador in Group B and it remains to be seen if they are capable of claiming at least one major scalp at the 2016 Copa America.
Duckens Nazon, who impressed at the CONCACAF Gold Cup, made the Haiti Copa America squad, with fellow attackers Kervens Belfort, Jean-Eudes Maurice, Wilde-Donald Guerrier and Jeff Louis being included in the squad as well.
Patrice Neveu’s team kick off their 2016 Copa America campaign with a game against Peru on 5 June.
