Wales and Northern Ireland are expected to square off in a warm-up game for the Euro 2021, according to reports.
The Dragons will face England in Group B at the tournament finals and it looks as though they will use the Northern Ireland friendly as a preparation for the Three Lions clash.
BBC Sport has learned that the two sides have agreed on a friendly that will take place at the Cardiff City Stadium on 24 March.
Northern Ireland will test their skills against Slovenia at Windsor Park four days later, whereas the game against Chris Coleman’s charges will be another strong test ahead of the tournament finals after their friendly against Poland had been canceled.
Meanwhile, Wales have agreed to meet Ukraine in Kiev on 28 March, and they will now have two high-profile fixtures at the start of 2016.
While the Dragons will also face Russia and Slovakia in Group B, Northern Ireland are in for an uphill task with Germany, Poland and Ukraine the other three sides in Group C.
