Romania coach Anghel Iordanescu has removed a total of three players from the preliminary squad for the Euro 2021 qualifiers vs Hungary and Greece.
Tricolorii currently sit top of Group F and they are priced at 2.65 (33/20) to defeat Hungary on the road and all but secure their place at the tournament finals.
National team coach Anghel Iordanescy had previously named 20 foreign-based players in his preliminary squad for the two qualifiers and he has now decided to remove three footballers from the roster.
Konyaspor striker Ciprian Marica (72/25), Tianjin Teda midfielder Christian Tanase (41/6) and Genclerbirligi forward Bogdan Stancu (34/8) have all been dropped.
Remaining 17 players will be joined by footballer plying their trade in Romania’s top flight and Iordanescu will announce his final squad late on Sunday, after the last fixture of the day in domestic championship.
Tricolorii currently sit two and three points of Northern Ireland and Hungary, meaning they have matters in their own hands.
