Media reports in Ghana have learned that the Black Stars will be testing their skills in an international friendly against Canada.
The match should take place at the RFK Stadium in Washington DC on October 13, even if earlier reports suggested the game would be played in Harrison, New Jersey.
The Canada vs Ghana friendly game will be played at DC Stadium’s home ground and is scheduled to start at 19:00 EST.
Ghana had a good start to the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign, hammering Mauritius 7-1 at home before defeating Rwanda on the road few days ago.
And having only faced sides from Africa since taking part at the 2014 World Cup, the Black Stars will relish the opportunity to test their skills against a team from another zone.
Meanwhile, Canada have just secured progress to Round 4 in the 2018 World Cup Qualifying CONCACAF, having recorded a 4-1 aggregate win over Belize.
But, having largely struggled at the 2015 Gold Cup, the Canucks will be looking to show some much needed improvement when they take on Ghana.
