United States coach Jurgen Klinsmann has unveiled a 23-man squad that will participate at the historic 2016 Copa America Centenario.

The German tactician will count on 15 players who were part of the USA 2014 FIFA World Cup squad and a total of 18 footballers who have already represented the national team in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

The likes of Michael Bradley, Kyle Beckerman and Clint Dempsey all missed the friendly against Puerto Rico, but they were included in the USA Copa America squad.

Jozy Altidore’s injury seems to be the biggest blow for the USMNT and he will be sorely missed at the upcoming showpiece tournament.

Talented players John Brooks, Bobby Wood and DeAndre Yedlin made the squad as well and they are expected to shine at the 2016 Copa America.

“We feel that these 23 going into the very special Copa America, they really deserved to be there. “Obviously when you get down and you decide on the final 23-man roster, there are very close, tight decisions to make.

The moment when you decide, it’s about definitely who you feel the strongest about.”, said Jurgen Klinsmann.

USA kick off their Copa America campaign with star-studded Colombia on 3 June at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. The Yanks will take on Paraguay and Costa Rica in Group A as well.

USA Copa America squad:

Colombia coach Jose Pekerman has served up quite a few surprises when naming his final squad for the 2016 Copa America Centenario.

Los Cafeteros will have their work cut out for them in Group A, facing the likes of United States, Paraguay and Costa Rica.

And rather than opting for tried and tested players, coach Jose Pekerman clearly decided to introduce some fresh blood, including a number of players who will be representing the country at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Andres Felipe Roa, Felipe Aguilar, Cristian Bonilla, Marlos Moreno and Roger Martinez are all in the squad that will hold the first stage of preparations in Miami.

Meanwhile, Radamel Falcao, Jackson Martinez, Fredy Guarin and Victor Ibarbo hadn’t even made the provisional squad, and they face a struggle to get back in the side.

As far as high-profile players are concerned, James Rodriguez, Juan Cuadrado, Carlos Bacca and David Ospina have survived the cut.

Colombia Copa America squad:

Goalkeepers: David Ospina (Arsenal), Robinson Zapata (Santa Fe), Cristian Bonilla (Atl. Nacional);

Defenders: Santiago Arias (PSV), Stefan Medina (Pachuca), Cristian Zapata (Milan), Óscar Murillo (Pachuca), Jeison Murillo (Inter), Farid Díaz (Atl. Nacional) Frank Fabra (Boca Juniors), Felipe Aguilar (Atl. Nacional);

Gerardo Martino has unveiled the Argentina squad for the 2016 Copa America Centenario tournament, surprisingly leaving out Paulo Dybala.

La Albiceleste head to the United States with championship ambitions and they will be vying the likes of Chile, Panama and Bolivia in Group D.

Tata Martino waited until the very last day to finalise his squad for the upcoming tournament and his selection has raised some eyebrows.

Boca Juniors star Carlos Tevez was not expected to be on the plane to the United States and he has been overlooked, but the former Barcelona boss also decided to leave Paulo Dybala out of the side.

The Juventus star has been in excellent form this season and many were surprised not to see his name on the final list.

Meanwhile, Ezequiel Lavezzi keeps his place despite moving to China, while Benfica winger Nicolas Gaitan is included as well.

The star-studded attack includes Leo Messi, Gonzalo Higuain, Sergio Aguero and Angel Di Maria among others, whereas Pablo Zabaleta, Javier Pinola and Leonel Vangioni are out injured.

It is for that reason that Independiente defender Victor Cuesta is in the squad despite not being named on the provisional roster.

Argentina Copa America squad:

Goalkeepers: Sergio Romero (Manchester United), Nahuel Guzmán (Tigres), Mariano Andujar (Estudiantes);

Defenders: Facundo Roncaglia (Fiorentina), Marcos Rojo (Manchester United), Nicolas Otamendi (Manchester City), Ramiro Funes Mori (Everton), Gabriel Mercado (River), Jonatan Maidana (River), Victor Cuesta (Independiente);

Midfielders: Javier Mascherano (Barcelona), Augusto Fernández (Atlético Madrid), Matías Kranevitter (Atlético Madrid), Éver Banega (Sevilla), Lucas Biglia (Lazio), Erik Lamela (Tottenham), Javier Pastore (Paris Saint Germain);

Forwards: Lionel Messi (Barcelona), Gonzalo Higuaín (Napoli), Sergio Agüero (Manchester City), Ángel Di María (Paris Saint Germain), Nicolás Gaitán (Benfica), Ezequiel Lavezzi (Hebei Fortune).

La Federacion Peruana de Futbol (FPF) have announced the Peru squad for the 2016 Copa America Centenario tournament.

Oddly enough, the roster was referred to as “provisional”, meaning we could still see some changes before the 20 May deadline.

La Blanquirroja will face Haiti, Ecuador and Brazil in Group B of the highly anticipated tournament, held in the United States from 3 to 26 June.

Following numerous speculation and several leaked lists, the national team chiefs finally announced the roster selected by head coach Ricardo Gareca, who served just one minor surprise.

The experienced tactician decided to call Cesar Vallejo midfielder Alejandro Hohberg, with Alexander Callens missing out.

Gareca had already caused a great deal of controversy by leaving star players Jefferson Farfan, Claudio Pizarro, Luis Advincula and Juan Manuel Vargas from the provisional list, with Gianluca Lapadula also failing to make the cut.

Peru will be heading to the 2016 Copa America Centenario hoping to show some improvement following some disappointing results in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers and they are expected to line up in 4-2-3-1 formation.

Peru Copa America squad:

Goalkeepers: Pedro Gallese (Juan Aurich), Diego Penny (Sporting Cristal), Carlos Cáceda (Universitario);

Defenders: Jair Céspedes (Sporting Cristal), Aldo Corzo (Municipal) , Christian Ramos (Juan Aurich), Alberto Rodríguez (Sporting Cristal), Miguel Araujo (Alianza Lima), Miguel Trauco (Universitario), Luis Abram (Sporting Cristal);

Forwards: Beto da Silva (PSV Eindhoven), Andy Polo (Universitario), Paolo Guerrero (Flamengo), Raúl Ruidíaz (Universitario).
