Seattle Sounders agree deal for Panama star Roman TorresSeattle Sounders have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Panama international defender Roman Torres, it has been suggested.

The centre-back largely impressed playing for Los Canaleros at the 2015 Gold Cup, captaining his side to a third-place finish at the tournament finals.

And it appears that his excellent performances did not go unnoticed as Seattle Sounders are now hot on his trail.

According to the latest reports, the MLS side have reached an agreement with the player’s employers, with the 29-year-old already on road to the United States.

Roman Torres spent the majority of his career in Colombia’s top flight, representing La Equidad, Junior, Atletico Nacional and Millionrios.

The highly rated centre-back has been capped 91 times by Panama and scored 9 goals, starting all six matches at the 2015 Gold Cup.
