Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho reportedly has the offer to join Swiss side FC Sion, according to the club chairman.
The 35-year-old is a free agent after leaving Fluminense and he has made it clear that he wants to continue playing.
Malaysian club Pahang FA were reportedly interested in his signature, but they have puled out of the chase after learning of the lucrative offer from Switzerland.
FC Sion president Christian Constantin has now moved to confirm reports that he has spoken to Ronaldinho’s brother and agent Roberto Assis, who had played for the club during the 90s.
“It is true. Roberto was here last week, at Hotel Les Bains de Saillon,” Constantin was quoted as saying. “That is where I met him. Put it this way: I have been following the matter up close.”
Ronaldinho last played in Europe back in 2010, having left AC Milan to join Flamengo in January 2011.
