Monaco have offer accepted for Guido Carrillo

Monaco set to sign Guido Carrillo from EstudiantesFrench giants Monaco are set to wrap up the deal for Estudiantes La Plata forward Guido Carrillo, the Argentine club announced on their official website.

It was revealed that the club had accepted a $10 million proposal for their prized asset, with the transfer set to be completed in the coming days.

Monaco were on the lookout for a centre forward after Dimitar Berbatov decided to leave the club and they wasted no time in signing him a replacement.

Guido Carrillo has spent his entire career up to date with Estudiantes, and he has been especially impressive over the last couple of years.

The 24-year-old managed 19 goals and 4 assists in 43 competitive outings last season, and came to be regarded as one of country’s hottest prospects.

Carrillo has now secured a move to a top European club and he will have a good chance to securing regular first team football at Stade Louis II.

Meanwhile, Monaco star Geoffrey Kondogbia is set to complete a €40 million move to Inter Milan, according to L’Equipe.
