Serie A champions Juventus are set to complete the signing of Avezzano forward Alessio Di Massimo, the Serie D club have announced.
The Bianconeri scouts spotted the youngster’s potential a while back and he has done enough to persuade the Old Lady officials to offer him a professional contract.
Avezzano revealed on their official website that they had accepted an offer from Juventus, with the youngster currently undergoing a medical in Turin.
Even though the transfer will only be completed on 15 November, Di Massimo will join Juventus youth side immediately with coach Max Allegri hoping to get a closer look at his latest recruit.
The 19-year-old footballer has impressed playing in Italy’s fourth tier and he has now been given an opportunity to continue his development at the country’s most famous club.
Di Massimo has been tipped by many as the future star of Italian football and Juventus will be happy to have secured his signature.
