AC Milan striker Alessandro Matri has completed a late move to Lazio, the Biancocelesti have announced.
The well-travelled forward arrives on a season-long loan to improve the attacking options at Stadio Olimpico.
Lazio were desperate to recruit a quality centre forward after both Miroslav Klose and Filip Djordjevic picked up injuries and they got their hands on a seasoned Serie A footballer.
Alessandro Matri has spent his entire career in Italy, playing last nine years in the top flight and scoring 65 goals in total.
The 31-year-old represented Cagliari, Juventus, Milan, Fiorentina and Genoa, and will now attempt to help Lazio in the 2015/2016 season.
Matri has been capped 5 times by the Italian national team, but did not make the squad for Euro 2021 qualifiers vs Malta and Bulgaria.
