While Netherlands and Turkey were widely tipped to win the first two places in the group before the competition started, it was impressive Iceland and Czech Republic that secured qualification with two games to go.
All that’s left for the two side now is to vie for the first place in Group A, whereas Oranje and Milli Takim will be battling for the play-off berth.
Following the impressive 3-0 triumph in Konya, Turkey sit two points clear of their rivals, although they will be facing the top two sides in the final qualifiers in October.
Meanwhile, Netherlands travel to Kazakhstan before hosting Czech Republic and they still hope they can achieve a third-place finish.
