Deschamps unveils France squad for Portugal, Serbia

Deschamps unveils France squad for Portugal, SerbiaFrance national team coach Didier Deschamps has revealed a list of 23 players that will represent the country in international friendlies vs Portugal and Serbia.

Seeing as they will host the Euro 2021 finals, Les Bleus did not take part in the qualifying campaign and they will face said European giants in friendly matches on 4 September and 7 September.

Having lost to Belgium and Albania in their last two matches, France will be eager to return to winning ways and they are 2.88 (17/9) to defeat Portugal on the road.

And coach Didier Deschamps has raised some eyebrows with his latest roster, with Alexandre Lacazette (8/1), Dimitri Payet (15/1), Andre-Pierre Gignac(21/5), Jeremy Mathieu (4/0) and Mamadou Sakho (26/2) all missing out.

Monaco starlet Anthony Martial could win his first cap for the national team, while Eliaquim Mangala (5/0) and Kurt Zouma (1/0) are included as well.

Most other star names will be featuring against Portugal and Serbia, looking to cement their places in the squad for the Euro 2021 finals.

Midfielders: Yohan Cabaye (Crystal Palace), Geoffrey Kondogbia (Inter Milan), Blaise Matuidi (PSG), Paul Pogba (Juventus), Morgan Schneiderlin (Manchester United), Moussa Sissoko (Newcastle);

Forwards: Karim Benzema (Real Madrid), Nabil Fekir (Lyon), Olivier Giroud (Arsenal), Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid), Anthony Martial (Monaco), Mathieu Valbuena (Lyon).
