Age Hareide’s men will take on Iceland as important part of their 2018 World Cup preparations as Denmark failed to secure their spot at the Euro 2016 European Championship finals.
On the other side, the match at MCH Arena will serve as an important practice for Iceland on their way to their first major tournament after a successful Euro 2016 qualifying campaign in group A.
Iceland reached the final tournament in France having finished the qualifiers in second place behind Czech Republic.
Lars Lagerback and Heimir Hallgrimsson led their team to success which included home and away wins over the Netherlands as the most outstanding results in their Group A route.
Iceland have been pitted against Portugal, Austria and Hungary in Group F at Euro 2016 and they are considered underdogs to make a surprise progression to the knockout stage of the competition.
