Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has moved to announce that Spain will host England in an international friendly in Alicante on 13 November.
The two European powerhouses had been expected to lock horns at the Santiago Bernabeu, but the venue has now been changed.
The high-profile clash will instead take place at the Estadio Jose Rico Perez in Alicante, home venue of Segunda B side Hercules.
Spain national team and England will meet each other for the 24th time on November, but only if La Furia Roja secure automatic qualification to Euro 2021.
While the Three Lions have already qualified after winning first seven matches, Vicente Del Bosque’s side sit at the Group C summit, albeit level on points with Slovakia and three points ahead of third-place Ukraine.
Spain will have a perfect opportunity to edge closer to France when they face FYR Macedonia in Skopje, and they are 1.60 (3/5) for a half-time/full-time win.
