Head to Head Record

Carpi vs Juventus 2-3 (2015/2016 Serie A)

Juventus vs Carpi Team News

Stefano Sturaro will be available for the match against Carpi, as he is now fully fit. Massimiliano Allegri cannot count on Neto, Chiellini, Caceres and Marchisio, since all of them are in the recovery room. Lichtsteiner and Cuadrado will battle for the place on the right flank, as well as Evra and Alex Sandro on the left. Hernanes, Pogba, Mandzukic and Lichtsteiner are a card away from suspension.

Injured: Neto (1/0), Giorgio Chiellini (22/0), Martin Caceres (6/0), Claudio Marchisio (23/0)

Suspended: None

Rafaele Bianco and Lorenzo Lollo are suspended, so they will be replaced with Isaac Cofie and Jonathan de Guzman. Cristian Zaccardo could take Poli’s place in the last line of defense. Matteo Fedele and Emanuele Suagher were on a different training regime than the rest of the team, but will be in the starting line-up. Brkic, Bubnjic and Gnahore are sidelined due to injury.

Injured: Zeljko Brkic (4/0), Igor Bubnjic (9/0), Eddy Gnahore (0/0)

Suspended: Rafaele Bianco (24/1), Lorenzo Lollo (26/3)

Quick Facts

  • Juventus are on a twenty-five-game undefeated run in the league
  • The Old Lady achieved fourteen straight wins on home soil
  • Buffon conceded just three times in the spell
  • Carpi recorded one away triumph in 2016
  • I Biancorossi lost just once in their last five fixtures on the road (W1 D3)

Juventus vs Carpi Prediction

La Vecchia Signora secured their fifth consecutive Scudetto after defeating Fiorentina in a dramatic finish (2-1). Massimiliano Allegri’s charges are practically unbeatable on home soil with a single loss this season. They are still to concede a goal at Juventus Stadium in 2016, and we do not believe Carpi are capable of ending such a tremendous streak. I Biancorossi are on a three-game undefeated run in the league and after defeating Empoli in the previous fixture, they sit three points above the dotted line, but the relegation battle is far from over for them. Even though Allegri could rest some of his key players, we believe that Fabrizio Castori’s side will have to look for salvation points elsewhere.
