  • In their last meeting at the major tournament (1966 World Cup) Portugal outclassed Hungary (3-0)
  • Cristiano Ronaldo has netted 58 goals for the Portugal national team so far
  • Under 3.5 goals were scored in Hungary’s last four games at Euro finals

Hungary vs Portugal Prediction

Portugal missed a number of clear-cut chances to score in the goalless draw with Austria. A Selecao failed to turn their dominance into goals in their second group game and, no doubt, Cristiano Ronaldo is under big pressure ahead of the decider against Hungary. CR7 needs to prove his worth in Wednesday’s clash against Bernd Storck’s troops and, taking everything into account, Fernando Santos’s men are likely to pick up all three points from the game.
