Turkey v Bulgaria 4-0 (International friendly)
Kazakhstan v Turkey 0-1 (Euro 2021 qualifier)
Turkey v Latvia 1-1 (Euro 2021 qualifier)

Team News:

Turkey headed into the qualifiers vs Latvia and Netherlands without Volkan Demirel (63/0), Gokhan Gonul (51/1), Omer Toprak (23/2), Emre Belezoglu (94/9), Hamit Altintop (86/7) and Mevut Erding (33/8), and they made a real mess out of the first game, missing out on a victory in the dying moments of the match.

Milli Takim go into the key match against the Netherlands without any new selection problems, so there is every chance coach Fatih Terim will field the same line-up that started three days ago.

Key player Arda Turan produced a promising performance in spite of the lack of action at club level and he will need to be at his best if Turkey are to record a very important win.

Players to watch: Arda Turan, Burak Yilmaz.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Babacan – Tufan, Aziz, Balta, Erkin – Calhanoglu, Inan, Turan – Tore, Yilmaz, Sen.

Netherlands

Last 5 matches:

Netherlands v Turkey 1-1 (Euro 2021 qualifier)
Netherlands v Spain 2-0 (International friendly)
Netherlands v USA 3-4 (International friendly)
Latvia v Netherlands 0-2 (Euro 2021 qualifier)
Netherlands v Iceland 0-1 (Euro 2021 qualifier)

Team News:

Netherlands suffered a costly defeat to Iceland on Thursday that ended their chances of clinching automatic qualifying berth, but they now need to get at least one point from Turkey in order to remain in the play-off position.

There were more bad news for new coach Danny Blind as captain Arjen Robben suffered a groin injury and he has been ruled out of the clash in Konya, with Bruno Martins Indi banned after receiving a red card.

Danny Blind has since drafted Sunderland forward Jeremain Lens (30/8) and Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk (0/0) into the squad, but neither is expected to start in Turkey.

Players to watch: Memphis Depay, Wesley Sneijder.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Cillessen – van der Wiel, Bruma, de Vrij, Blind – Wijnaldum, Klaassen, Sneijder – Narsingh, Huntelaar, Depay.

Turkey v Netherlands betting odds & tips

*With the first match ending all squared and both sides under pressure not to lose, it is important to note that draw pays 3.25 (9/4).

*Chances are that we will witness a nervy affair with chances few and far between in the first period, so half-time draw at 2.05 (21/20) seems like a good choice.

*In spite of the recent struggles, Netherlands still have quality to win this match, and away win is available at 2.30 (13/10).
