Team News:

Scotland suffered a real blow to their qualifying hopes as they were beaten by Georgia and now need to defeat Germany to have any chance of reaching the Euro 2021 finals.

While Stuart Armstrong and Christophe Berra had earlier withdrawn from the squad, Gordon Strachan has no selection worries at the moment, although he could make changes to the side that lost in Georgia few days ago,

Grant Hanley (18/1) is expected to return to the heart of defence with Charlie Mulgrew (19/2) moving to the left flank and Andrew Robertson (7/1) dropping to the bench.

Players to watch: Shaun Maloney, Steven Fletcher.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Marshall – Hutton, Martin, Hanley, Mulgrew – Brown, Morrison – Maloney, Naismith, Anya – S. Fletcher.

Germany

Last 5 matches:

Germany v Australia 2-2 (International friendly)
Georgia v Germany 0-2 (Euro 2021 qualifier)
Germany v USA 1-2 (International friendly)
Gibraltar v Germany 0-7 (Euro 2021 qualifier)
Germany v Poland 3-1 (Euro 2021 qualifier)

Team News:

After a number of star players missed out on the Germany squad through injury, Joachim Low also stayed without key attacker Marco Reus (25/9) as he suffered a toe injury ahead of the Poland game.

Germany, nonetheless, recorded a 3-1 victory to return to the top place in the group, with Mario Gotze (46/16) netting a brace to pay back Joachim Low for his confidence following the lack of first team action at Bayern.

Emre Can was quite impressive on his Germany debut and is now widely tipped to start at right-back for the second match running, while there are no injury or suspension problems for the visitors.

Players to watch: Thomas Muller, Mesut Ozil, Mario Gotze.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Neuer – Can, Boateng, Hummels, Hector – Schweinsteiger, Kroos – Muller, Ozil, Bellarabi – Gotze.

*Another interesting market has Germany to win and both teams to score at 3.25 (9/4) and we feel such an outcome is a realistic possibility.
