Team News

Defenders Marcelo and Marquinhos remain in the recovery room, but the bad news is that PSG centre-back David Luiz has joined the duo on the sidelines after being shown a red card in the 1-1 draw with Argentina.

Corinthians defender Gil is widely expected to replace David Luiz in the starting line-up and play alongside Inter centre-back Joao Miranda in the heart of defence.

Bayern Munich winger Douglas Costa impressed against Argentina after coming on as a substitute and he could replace striker Ricardo Oliveira in the starting XI.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Alisson – Dani Alves, Miranda, Gil, Filipe Luis – Elias, Luiz Gustavo – Neymar, Willian, Lucas Lima, COsta – Neymar.

Diego Penny should continue in goal after he was surprisingly preferred to Pedro Gallese, with Yoshimar Yotun set to again be preferred to Jair Cespedes.
